The Global G-80 Granton Santoku Knife is an all-purpose knife perfectly made for chopping, dicing, and slicing fruits and vegetables. This santoku knife with hollow ground/granton edge has scalloped grooves on the sides of the blade edge which helps with reducing friction and sticking of foods. This knife is constructed with high quality Cromova 18 high carbon stainless steel found in both the blade and handle so the edge remains sharp and the long lasting.
The blade is constructed of a single piece of steel, with a unique convex edge for unsurpassed performance. Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56 - C58 degrees which holds the razor-sharp edge of the blade longer than any other steel. The ergonomic, stainless steel hygienic handles with signature dimple pattern offer a comfortable, slip-resistant grip. Made of hollow handles which are then filled with sand to achieve the desired weight and deliver the perfect balance. Hand wash only. Made in Japan.
